The bees on the Åland Islands have after several years of clinical tests been declared free from the varroa mite. Now it´s up to us to stay free from it.
In October 2013 the EU declared a total ban on import of bees to the islands.
The varroa mite has caused large lost of bees in Europe and the USA.
No mites found in sampling July 2016.
Europe has calculated a lack of 1 million colonies much due to the varroa mite!

Аландские пчелы не поражены клещем Варроа – это подтверждено многократными анализами и контролем.
Остается только сделать так, чтобы и в дальнейшем мы были свободны от клеща!
В октябре2013годаЕвропейский Союзввел полную остановку ввоза пчел на Аланды.
Клещ Варроа наносит огромный вред пчелам в Европе и в США.
В Европе урон, причиненный клещем Варроа оценивается в один миллион пчелиных семей.

Ahvenanmaan mehiläisten on monen vuoden kokeiden jälkeen todettu olevan varroapuhtaita.
Nyt on tärkeää pitää tämä terve tilanne pysyvänä!
Lokakuussa 2013 asetti EU täydellisen kiellon mehiläistuonnista Ahvenanmaalle.
Varroapunkki on aiheuttanut suuria mehiläiskatoja sekä Euroopassa että USAssa.
Euroopassa arvioidaan olevan miljoonan mehiläisyhdyskunnan vaje, paljon varroapunkista johtuen.
